Day 1
MARRAKECH – ZAGORA
Begin your journey from Marrakech, traveling through the breathtaking Atlas Mountains and crossing the scenic Tichka Pass at 2,260 meters. Arrive in Ouarzazate, the “Gateway to the Desert,” for a leisurely lunch before continuing through the lush Draa Valley to Zagora.
From Zagora, embark on a 1.5-hour camel ride that leads you into the heart of the Sahara Desert, where an unforgettable sunset awaits. Spend the night under the stars in a traditional tented camp, enjoying a delicious dinner and waking up to a hearty breakfast.
Day 2
ZAGORA – MARRAKECH
Begin the return journey to Zagora, passing through Agdz, a charming oasis along the Drâa River Valley, celebrated for its lush date palms. Continue to Ouarzazate, where you can explore the iconic Kasbah of Ouarzazate, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a famous film set for countless movies.
If time allows, visit the Ouarzazate film studio to discover behind-the-scenes stories of international productions. After enjoying lunch in Ouarzazate, journey through the picturesque Draa Valley, marveling at its verdant oases and traditional Berber villages, before arriving back at your Riad in Marrakech.

Day 1
MARRAKECH – GORGES DADÈS
Your adventure begins with a departure from Marrakech, traveling through the stunning Atlas Mountains and crossing the Tichka Pass at an altitude of 2,260 meters. Along the way, visit the iconic Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and explore Ouarzazate, including a stop at the renowned film studios (time permitting).
After lunch in Ouarzazate, continue through the Skoura Oasis and the town of Kelaat M’gouna, celebrated for its Valley of the Roses and rose water production. The day concludes at the breathtaking Dades Gorge, where towering rock formations create a spectacular canyon. Overnight stay in a hotel with half board.
Day 2
DADES GORGES – MERZOUGA
Start your day exploring the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs, a mesmerizing landscape of ancient fortresses crafted from mud and earth. Continue to Tinghir, home to the dramatic Todra Gorge with its towering cliffs. Pass through Rissani, the former capital of the Alaouite sultans, known for its vibrant market, before heading to Erfoud, famously called the “Gateway to the Desert.”
Visit the fossil oasis of Tifillate and journey onwards to Merzouga, at the base of the towering Erg Chebbi dunes. Experience a magical camel trek into the heart of the Sahara Desert, where you’ll witness a stunning sunset. Spend the night at a traditional bivouac (half board), surrounded by the serenity of the dunes.
Day 3
MERZOUGA – MARRAKECH
Wake up early to witness the enchanting sunrise over the dunes, followed by a 1.5-hour camel ride back to Merzouga. After a hearty breakfast, begin the return journey to Marrakech with a lunch stop in Ouarzazate. Arrive at your riad in Marrakech in the evening, completing an unforgettable desert adventure.
